Community Programs

At Liberty Towers Church, the best way that we can reach our community is to be IN, FOR & WITH the people of the Greater Sacramento Area. For us that means partnering with local organizations to learn how we can best serve those around us. The majority of our community programs are based out of our home building (5132 Elkhorn Blvd) while others take place in and around the city.

BCLC Black Child Legacy Campaign (BCLC)

Liberty Towers serves as the Community Incubator Lead (CIL) for BCLC in Foothill Farms and North Highlands. Our role as the CIL is to empower the community with tools and resources to address disparities so that everyone has opportunities to thrive. Services provided through BCLC are targeted but universal so that everyone has access to what is offered.

BCLC provides the community with access to services tailored so that:

  • women experience healthy birth outcomes,

  • infants are safely sleeping on their backs and alone in their cribs,

  • Kids are safe at all times,

  • and teens are thriving in their communities.

Impact Sac

Impact Sac is the self-proclaimed leading youth empowerment organization in Sacramento. The Sacramento non-profit was formed by staff at Liberty Towers. Impact Sac is located at 1610 R St. in downtown Sacramento with a mission to connect people to power (the ability to do something). The goal of Impact Sac is to empower and inspire young people to effectively communicate their needs and to accomplish their goals by knowing the power of their own voice. Their passion is to connect the ears and hearts of those with influence and resources to voices of “teen experts” with lived experience, so that together, they are motivated and connected to the ability to do something (power).

Impact Sac hosts programs centered around social youth justice, violence prevention, and entertainment. To learn more about youth initiatives at Impact Sac Click Here!
